Our drivers
Our company insists on training and education of drivers. Thanks to it, we can pride on ones of the best drivers not only in the CzechRepublic but also in Europe. We regularly invest in their training and language courses; we educate drivers in technical fields of coaches, which they drive, safety breaks and compulsory rest and the way of negotiating with clients. All our drivers speak English and some of them also another language such as German or Spanish. All drivers are also uniformed and wear Vega Tour shirts with ties, black trousers and shoes.
Our dispatchers will be pleased to provide you with details about our drivers.
Courses of safe driving
Our drivers regularly attend courses of safe driving provided by the company OMNIplus. These safety courses are practised in the premises of ADAC – Driving Safety Centre at the Hockenheimring, Germany and are based on the directive of the German Road Safety Council (DVR e.V.).
Courses include:
- Practical education of safe driving
- Critical situation management
- Theoretical part of transport safety and physics of driving
- Education of passive and active safety inside coaches
Courses of cost reduction
Our drivers have been trained on low-cost and economic driving. The training was developed directly by a German coach producer called EvoBus and is used all over the western and in last years also middle Europe by all companies which really rest on the economy of services. Because of constantly increasing costs, it is necessary to take such measures to be able to continue keeping the lowest possible price for you – our target customers – together with the quality of services which we want to offer you in the future.
Language courses
The quality of provided services is very important for us and this is also the reason of investing regularly in language education of our drivers. All drivers attend extensive language courses each year. Our long-term partner for language education is the agency called Presto.
Traffic rules
All our drives follow strictly international regulations on allowed driving time (amended directives EC no. 561/2006 and older one EC no. 3820/85 and AETR) when driving. Herewith we not only try to drive according to the valid European law but also protect our passengers. Below you can find a full version of these international agreements.
