Vega Tour s.r.o., registered office Šatalská 204/21, Libuš, 142 00 Prague 4, Company ID: 62917072 (hereinafter referred to as “VT”), acts as the Data Controller of your personal data. We are therefore responsible not only for the accuracy of the recorded data, but also for their overall processing and handling.
We consider the protection of our clients’ personal data to be our unconditional duty. All customer personal data are processed strictly in accordance with generally applicable regulations, directives, and laws.
For What Purpose Do We Process Data?
- To establish and ensure contractual relationships and service reservations (pre-booking)
- To provide travel and transportation services based on confirmation of a pre-booking and the conclusion of a contractual relationship (Travel Contract / Transport Contract, etc.) and to fulfil all our legal obligations
- For the purposes of our legitimate interests
- For the purposes of direct marketing

For the above-mentioned purposes, we process in particular the following data:
- a) Name and surname of all persons listed in the reservation and subsequently in the service contract
- b) Date of birth
- c) Contact address
- d) Telephone contact
- e) Email contact
- f) Login name and password for the client section
- g) Other personal data necessary for fulfilling the contract, e.g. bank account number, details of ordered services, health information (such as allergies, health conditions or pregnancy), complaints, travel companions, etc.
- h) Data about your behaviour on our websites and when reading our messages, including IP address, operating system, technical device parameters, referrer page, time and duration of visit, visited pages, information from cookies (such as your interests, shopping behaviour, age, etc.)
- i) Data from your customer system settings, i.e. email address
- j) History of your communication with us, i.e. messages you send us
- k) Newsletter-related data, i.e. click-through rates, readership, offer preferencesk

We process personal data either:
- a) Without your consent – based on performance of a contract, our legitimate interest, or in order to fulfil a legal obligation, or

Who Processes the Data?
Personal data are processed either directly by us as the Controller, or by our authorised business representatives (Vega Tour). Access is always limited to designated and authorised persons only, and always in line with applicable legal regulations.
Order and reservation data are stored in accordance with statutory requirements, for a minimum period of 5 years.
Additionally, with your consent, data may be processed by advertising and social networks as described in the section Use of Cookies and Other Technologies. For example, your email address (without additional identifiers) may be shared with providers of bulk email distribution services. These include:
- Seznam.cz, a.s., ID 26168685
- Google Ireland Limited
- Facebook Ireland Limited
- MailChimp – newsletter distribution system (you can unsubscribe anytime via the link at the bottom of each email)
- Smartsupp – online chat application for direct website communication. Data are not archived and are only used to re-contact clients in case of offline messages. Access is password-protected and limited to an authorised manager.
For Service Provision:
- Insurance – we transmit name, surname, and date of birth to UNIQA insurance company via an online administration system. Access is password-protected and limited to authorised persons.
- Payment Gateway – data entered during online payment go directly via the payment gateway to the relevant bank and COMGATE, the payment gateway operator.
- Third Parties – we may share data with service providers necessary for fulfilling your order (e.g. hotels, airlines).
We also use external processors (software service providers), who only process the minimum data required and strictly in line with our rules and instructions.
Use of Cookies
Our websites use marketing and analytical tools to improve and adapt services to your needs. Cookies are small files storing, for example, user preferences.
With cookies we can also determine which pages, offers, or functions our visitors use most (through Google Analytics).
